Grant Georgia joins the Hoover Projects Inc. team this month as an Associate Project Management Consultant. Mr. Georgia will be championing a host of efforts to support the continuing growth of the firm. He will play a key role in prospecting, social media, research and SEO in addition to providing critical support to the ongoing project management assignments the firm directs from its FBO in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to the start of his role at Hoover Projects Inc. Mr. Georgia had a few years experience in the Oil and Gas industry as an engineer across multiple business units with Oceaneering International. He performed on a wide variety of projects with multi-million dollar budgets and critical deadlines. Mr. Georgia was stationed in Houston, Texas and made regular trips to offshore platforms as far as Baku, Azerbaijan. He learned the critical importance of clear communication to mission success on complex assignments.

Mr. Georgia has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas and a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He has also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. 

He enjoys running the Katy Trail, discovering new culinary opportunities at Central Market, or crushing a few golf balls at the driving range.
